Integrated CEMS and AQMS Environmental Monitoring Systems for Industrial Facilities in Uzbekistan
As the official authorised partner and representative of leading global manufacturers — Gasmet, Cubic and Zetron — we deliver a complete single-source solution, acting simultaneously as a reliable supplier, expert integrator and authorised service centre. Our status is confirmed by manufacturer certificates, guaranteeing equipment authenticity, reliable operation and compliance with international and national quality standards.
What are CEMS and AQMS?
CEMS — continuous emission monitoring
A CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) is installed directly at the emission source and measures pollutant concentrations in real time:
- SO₂ (sulphur dioxide), NO and NO₂ (nitrogen oxides)
- CO and CO₂ (carbon oxides), O₂ (oxygen)
Data is automatically transmitted to the Situation Centre of the Ministry of Ecology of Uzbekistan via a secure communication channel.
AQMS — background air quality monitoring
An AQMS (Air Quality Monitoring System) monitors ambient air conditions within a facility's sanitary protection zone and beyond. Parameters tracked:
- Particulate matter: PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, TSP
- Gases: NO₂, SO₂, CO, O₃, TVOC, H₂S, NH₃
- Meteorological parameters: wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure
System architecture: from sensor to Ministry
CEMS and AQMS systems are integrated into a unified infrastructure via the Uspace RTU-SUN central data node:
- Data source: CEMS sensors at emission sources and AQMS stations in the sanitary protection zone.
- Central node: Uspace RTU-SUN — continuous data collection, processing and routing.
- Transmission channel: secure channel and 4G/LTE with a fixed antenna.
- Recipient: Situation Centre of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Fault tolerance: built-in local memory ensures zero data loss during any network outages.
Reliable data transmission and logging: Uspace RTU-SUN
The Uspace RTU-SUN device provides three key functions:
- Continuous logging: constant collection of data from CEMS and AQMS sensors, analysis of critical values.
- Secure channel: data transmission to the Ministry of Ecology Situation Centre via an encrypted connection.
- Local storage: built-in memory for fault tolerance during network loss — zero data loss.
Applications
Industrial facilities:
- Petrochemical and gas processing plants
- Metallurgical and mining enterprises
- Cement and construction manufacturing
- Chemical and pharmaceutical industry
Energy sector:
Direct monitoring of flue gases (SO₂, NO, CO) at heat and power generation sources. The CEMS system in the emission zone is complemented by AQMS for background monitoring of particulate and gas dispersion beyond the facility perimeter.
Equipment technical specifications
CEMS subsystem: core optical technologies
A flagship industrial flue gas analyser based on two optical technologies:
- Micro-flow NDIR: patented dual-cell technology for SO₂, NO, CO, CO₂. High accuracy at low concentrations — down to 200 ppm.
- UV-DOAS: direct measurement of NO₂ without a NOx converter. Lower limit: 0–50 mg/m³. Resistant to moisture and vibration.
- Sampling method: extractive, cold and dry (Cold & Dry). No cross-interference between measured gases.
CEMS technical specifications (Gasboard 9050)
AQMS subsystem: MIC600-AQI monitoring microstation
A compact industrial-grade ambient air quality monitoring microstation:
- IP68 protection: industrial sheet metal enclosure for any weather conditions.
- Installation: 3-metre galvanised poles; optional solar power supply.
- Connectivity: 4G/LTE with fixed antenna to reduce failure risk.
- Pump service life: brushless, ≥ 2 years under standard conditions.
AQMS: particulate matter measurement and meteorology
The AQMS station simultaneously monitors two groups of parameters:
- Particulate matter (laser scattering): PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, TSP in the range 0–10,000 µg/m³. Accuracy comparable to the beta-ray method.
- Meteorological parameters (ultrasonic, no moving parts): wind speed and direction (0–70 m/s, 0–360°), temperature (–40°C…+85°C), humidity, atmospheric pressure.
AQMS: gas and odour detection
The station simultaneously detects up to 10 gases with PPB-level accuracy (±1.5% FS):
- Target gases: NO₂, SO₂, CO, O₃, TVOC (photo-ionisation), H₂S, NH₃.
- Calibration: individual factory calibration for each sensor; baseline and k-value correction to prevent electrochemical sensor drift.

Equipment lifecycle and maintenance
Equipment is designed for long-term reliable operation under industrial conditions:
- AQMS brushless air pump: over 2 years
- UV-DOAS optical sensors: 3–6 years (depending on operating conditions)
- NDIR and NDUV sensors: 6–8 years
- Local data storage capacity: over 6 years (≥ 5 million records)
The built-in sensor ageing monitoring system provides timely notification of scheduled maintenance requirements.
