Project overview

Sigma Pro is designing a dispatch and automation system (D&A) for the hydraulic structure at station 460 of the Dustlik Canal. The project continues the systematic work of digitalizing water resource management within the unified Syrdarya BWO dispatch network.

The project will provide remote control of the PK-460 structure's gates and integration of the facility into the overall monitoring and water accounting system of the Dustlik Canal, increasing the speed of response to changes in the water management situation.

Composition of the D&A project
  • Design of the upper-level SCADA system: operator interface, mnemonic diagrams, data archive, and reporting;
  • Design of the mid-level (PLC): gate control algorithms, processing of sensor readings;
  • Field level: water-level sensors in the upper and lower pools, gate position sensors, actuators;
  • Data transmission system: integration with the Syrdarya BWO data network — transmission to the CDP (Tashkent) and GUGiKD (Gulistan);
  • Autonomous power supply: solar panels + backup power source for operation during grid outages.
